Bald Eagles: Mountain Man Breakfast - In a 12" lined dutch oven, mix small bag of hash brown potatoes (thawed), 1 lb browned/crumbled sausage, small diced onion, diced bell pepper, 2 cups shredded cheddar.  Mix 8 eggs and 1/2 cup milk and pour evenly over top.  Bake for approx. 30 minutes at 350 degrees - 17 coals on top, 8 on the bottom.

THE BASIC RECIPE

In a 12" dutch oven, layer the following:

(first put in your liner to make cleanup easier)

2 cans pie filling

1 box cake mix (just the mix)

1.5-2 sticks butter cut into pats

Bake on prepared coals at 350 for approximately 40-45 minutes (17 on top, 8 on the bottom for 12")

Bigger or smaller DO?  See the chart below

PRO TIP:  Freeze your butter.  It's easier to slice and it helps keep your cooler colder.
